In talking about the services that she provides, Dr. Arango states:

“When clients come to see me I often talk to them about how achieving wellness in mental health is much more than just symptom reduction. It’s about taking a holistic approach to address their specific problem and exploring how various aspects in a client’s life including stress, poor diet and exercise as well as physical illness may contribute to their overall distress.”

Therefore, Dr. Arango will work will work together with you to develop a PLAN of action that targets these deficits and that helps you attain a meaningful and productive life.

During the first few sessions Dr. Arango will conduct an evaluation of your needs. By the end of the evaluation, she will be able to offer you some first impressions of what the work will include and provide a treatment plan to follow if you decide to continue therapy. She will tailor her methods to your needs, utilizing psychodynamic, humanistic and cognitive behavior therapy models.

If you agree to work with Dr. Arango, she will schedule a 30/45 minute session once a week. This arrangement will be subject to change based on your needs and specific goals.
