About Dr. Arango

Dr. Arango received her B.A. from Hunter College in 1994. At the same time she worked as a Research Assistant in a study of Maternal Attachment in Women at NY Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. Upon graduation from Hunter, Dr. Arango worked at Mount Sinai Hospital in one of the largest Longitudinal Studies encompassing the Physical and Psychological aspects of HIV in Women. She started her graduate studies in Psychology and trained in a variety of hospital settings in New York City.

Dr. Arango received her Masters Degree from Adelphi University in 1998. She completed her internship training at Presbyterian Hospital /The University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell. Receiving her Ph.D from Adelphi in 2003.

Dr. Arango is an EMDRIA Approved Clinician.

Dr. Arango is licensed in New York and California.

Dr. Arango is an active member of the National Register of Health Service Psychologists, The San Diego Psychological Association.
